This is an anthology entitled Mashairi ya Kisasa ‘Modern Poetry’ published in Dar es Salaam by the Tanzania Publishing House in 1973.  It is similar in thematic content to Mulokozi & Kahigi 1979.

The only poem from this collection so far translated is

Zimwi Halijafa! The Creature Has not yet Died! (pp. 26-27) by K.K.Kahigi.

This is a sequel to the poem Msiba Uliotuangukia A Disaster has befallen Us (Kahigi p.c.) which was actually published later in 1979 but written around the same time as Zimwi Halijafa!
