This is an anthology of poetry, entitled Matunda ya Azimio, written by ordinary East African citizens and published in East African Swahili newspapers.  Topics are current issues dealing primarily with people’s reaction to the Arusha Declaration (Azimio la Arusha) and Tanzania’s policies taking the country down the road towards socialism .
